The news is out! My debut YA sapphic fantasy novel, Veiled Enchantments, will publish with Tempest (Hachette Children’s Group) in February 2028.
Welcome to Holtsworth Academy, where magic lies around the corner for most students… Powerless Blake Delacroix has spent her life watching extraordinary lessons unfold around her, wishing she had even an ounce of magic of her own. When the Grandwitch attends the academy for his annual visit, Blake discovers he is hiding the existence of a secret necklace that contains immeasurable power. After years of disdain from students and teachers alike, she plots to take it for herself and show them what she knows she’s capable of. But the necklace goes missing and Blake believes her ex-best friend-turned nemesis – the irritating yet intriguing Maeve Moram – has stolen it. What begins as a quest to recover the necklace results in Blake unearthing dangerous hidden truths and she must decide who – and what – she really is before ancient magic consumes her and the world she knows.
